Call for Entry: South Delta Artist's Guild
Feb 27, 2008 - Jul 20, 2008 The South Delta Artist Guild is having their annual juried show, OIL & Water. The show is an open show for all artists of BC and has great prizes for 2 dimensional media.
Important dates are:
1. June 20th , 2008 is the deadline for slide or digital submission
2. July 20th is the deadline for accepted works to be delivered to the longhouse
3. the show will hang at the Kiwanis Longhouse Centre for the Arts from the 24th of July to the 31st of August 2008
4. Four entries will be allowed for jurying per artist. The first entry is 15.00 each subsequent entry is 10.00.
Entry forms can be downloaded at www.deltaartguild.org or phone the gallery and leave a message at 604-943-3313, entry forms are also available for pick up at the longhouse at 1710 56th street Tsawwassen - across the street from MacDonalds.
SUMMERFEST
Jul 19, 2008 10:30 am-05:00 pm Summerfest features an Outdoor Farmers Market, Classic Car Show & Blueberry Festival.
Some of the highlights of the day will be the Blueberry Pie Eating Contest, Bremners Blueberry Bake-Off, Salmon BBQ with Chef Romy Prasad, live music and much more!
Come for a fabulous day of fun!!
Admission is free & partial proceeds will be donated to Delta Hospital.
